Hi! New fan here! I've been addicted to your covers as of late haha(: I have a question, hopefully this hasn't been asked before. What equipment do you typically use to record your covers? I'm looking into buying better recording equipment for my own covers eventually, but I have no clue where to begin! Thanks (:
Haha, thank you! Typically, I mic DJ’s vocals and run that right into my computer via USB cable (Lightsnake). I use a dynamic mic (Audix OM2, I think. Once in a while, Shure SM58). And since I currently lack a mixer or real audio interface, I record the guitar using my iPad. It’s running Garageband. Then I email the guitar track over and everything gets mixed in Ableton. As for the camera, I have a Nikon D5000. Originally we were going to record it just using that alone, but I didn’t like the sound quality. This is more work, but sounds 50x better. Anyways, I hope this helped a little bit! Thanks for watching :)

I just want to say, you guys are amazing i love your channel on youtube! I was just wondering why does David hold the ipad on his lap when he plays? :) Just curious :P Annnd, i have a request --- Ed Sheeran-A Team :)
Wow, thank you! To answer your question, I lack another mic for my computer, so I use my iPad to record the audio of my guitar for mixing. That’s all :P
